Dr. Imen BELGUITH

Dr. Imen BELGUITH is a researcher and lecturer at the University of Sfax, specializing in molecular biology, genetic diagnostics, gene expression, and microbiome research. She previously served as the manager of the MICAfrica Twinning Project, a program dedicated to strengthening national expertise in microbiome analysis and fostering international scientific collaboration.

Her research focuses on the genetic and microbial factors involved in colorectal cancer and infertility, combining bioinformatics, real-time PCR, and RNA analysis approaches. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications and contributed to numerous national and European research projects.

With her expertise in molecular biology, computational genomics, and scientific project management, Dr. Imen BELGUITH plays an active role within ADRIC, promoting interdisciplinary research and scientific innovation.
