Professor Hammadi AYADI
President, ADRICAssociation – NACHM Chief Advisor – Pioneer in Immunology and Molecular Genetics
is a leading figure in biotechnology and immunology research in the Arab world. A Professor of Immunology and Molecular Genetics at the Faculty of Medicine of Sfax since 1994, he has held several prominent leadership roles, including CEO of the Biotechnology TechnoParc in Sidi Thabet (2016–2021) and Director General of the Biotechnology Center of Sfax (2003–2010).
He has led and co-directed several major research laboratories, including the Human Molecular Genetics Laboratory, the Immunology and Molecular Biology Research Laboratory, and the CNRS International Laboratory for Genes and Proteins in Montpellier, France. In 2008, he founded the biotechnology startup RDP.
Professor AYADI is also a founding member and Senior Advisor of the North African Consortium for the Human Microbiome (NACHM) and currently serves as President of the ADRIC Association, where he promotes research, innovation, and skills development in biotechnology and health sciences.
His research focuses on autoimmunity, human molecular genetics, and hereditary childhood hearing loss. Author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, Professor AYADI is widely recognized for his leadership in bridging academia, industry, and society, and for his enduring commitment to advancing scientific research and innovation at both national and international levels
